Chris Bass

Founder, President

Engineer, educator, motivational speaker & founder of IT4Teens & IT4Kids Academy is a native of Durham, North Carolina.  In 1999, he started his network engineering studies at the age of 15 as a 10th grader attending Hillside High School. After completing the two year program, Bass was chosen for a summer computer engineering internship, a Cisco engineering night class, and Microsoft Saturday academy. Over the next 20 years Bass would go on to teach, manage a IT department and work for the various fortune 100  American companies.  He is the former President of Dekalb County School System Business & Computer Science Advisory Committee. Bass is currently consulting for various industry firms.
